Do you help with job placement?
Our success depends on learners’ ability to find employment.
To that end, OCTI cultivates relationships with potential employers
through our community partner network.
In addition, students have access to tools and supports that
assist in finding and applying for positions.
How long does it take to complete a certification?
The Warehousing in the Supply Chain course is three (3) weeks long.
What are the requirements for admission?
Students must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
How do I apply?
Students interested in attending OCTI need to complete an application
and receive class materials. Students must attend a pre-enrollment
orientation prior to class enrollment.
What is the refund policy?
Tuition is fully refundable if withdrawal occurs prior to the start
of the course. Tuition refund is reduced in accordance to the amount of time
expired and is outlined in the student handbook
What other fees or costs should I expect (books, materials, technology)?
All fees are paid through the cost of tuition. No extra fees are assessed.
Can anyone, regardless of prior felony convictions, enroll in courses at OCTI?
Yes. OCTI believes in the potential for successful reintegration
into the community following incarceration. OCTI is a training
provider for the MOST program
(Motivated Offenders Succeeding Tomorrow) which was the previous program with the
Department of Health & Human Services Promoting Responsible Fatherhood.
Is the school accredited or licensed?
OCTI is currently authorized as a post-secondary educational institute by the
Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC), Veteran Affairs (VA) and is authorized by the
Work Investment Network (WIN).
Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?
We offer several options for funding education including extended payment plans,
scholarships and assistance with application for financial aid for career training
loans through Orion Credit Union.
Do classes meet in the daytime only, or are night classes available?
Currently, Warehousing in the Supply Chain is offered during the day
Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
We look to add evening classes in the future.
